| Cover: The identification of the need for a “Revolution in Military Logistics” in the late 1990s led to major improvements in force sustainment, force projection, and technology application and acquisition agility. In the article beginning on page 3 the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff, G−4, Lieutenant General Mitchell H. Stevenson, looks back over the last decade and evaluates how far the Army has come and what still needs to be done to achieve the envisioned revolution. Technological advances such as the very small aperture terminal (VSAT) have played a major role in implementing logistics transformation.
