Scope:
This course provides advanced instruction of maintenance policies, programs, and practices to provide the student with a solid foundation for further study or application. Both maintenance engineering during acquisition and maintenance operations during sustainment are addressed.

Prerequisites:
Students must have completed the Army Maintenance Management Course (8A-F3) and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) courses ACQ 101, LOG 101, LOG 102, and either LOG 103 or LOG 203 OR have completed either the DA Logistics Intern Training Program Course or Intern Logistics Studies Program prior to taking this course. The target audience consists of civilians (GS-11 or above), DOD commissioned officers (MAJ or above), warrant officers, and noncommissioned officers (E-6 and above) assigned or on orders to positions in the maintenance management career field.
Students not meeting the requirements above may be admitted by special waiver from the course director.
