Resident -1 Weeks 4.0 Days

Scope:

This course provides training in ammunition compatibility and quantity distance learning standards; munitions storage; rewarehousing; segregation operations; safe handling procedures needed to effectively manage munitions operations; provides skills and knowledge of the procedures necessary to conduct inspection of munitions, small guided missiles, and use/maintenance of munitions gages, Standard Army System (SAAS) procedures, FBCB2 and a WTX.

Special Information:

This distributed Learning phase must be completed prior to entering the resident phase.

Course material may be found at https://ordnance.ellc.learn.army.mil (the eOrdnanceU Blackboard website) as no CDs will be shipped. AKO is used to log on. This is a self-enrollment course via this website.

This site is not linked to ATRRS, therefore, students must be officially enrolled in ATRRS in order to have an exam in ATIA and to get credit for completion.

USASMA developed Advanced Leader Course (ALC) (formerly called BNCOC)Common Core distributed Learning (dL)/Video Teletraining (VTT) must also be completed to be considered a course graduate. This material may be completed before, during or after any Phase of this course.

 

   

Prerequisites:

Students Cannot: Have a Reservation, or be Attending, or be Graduated from course: 645-89B30 (DL) Phase : 2 (AMMUNITION SPECIALIST BNCOC) *.

* The prerequisite course class must end on or before the report date of the class for which the student is enrolling. Note: This rule does not apply if the prerequisite course is self-paced training such as correspondence or web.

Active Army (AA): Enlisted personnel qualified in MOS 89B and selected for promotion to staff sergeant (SSG). Must meet requirements outlined in AR 351-1. First priority will be given to SSGs. Successful completion of the Warrior Leader Course (WLC) formerly Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC)Ù.

Reserve Component (RC): Enlisted Soldiers in MOS 89B with recommendation from unit commander. Personnel selected for attendance will be sergeants (SGT) or staff sergeants (SSG) serving in platoon sergeant (PSG) or sergeant first class (SFC) positions who have successfully completed Warrior Leader Course (WLC) formerly Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC)Ù.
